The Ministry of Natural Resources’ Southern Science and Information Section, along with the Forest Research Partnership and various other collaborators have created a collaborative research “tour” known as the North Bay/Mattawa Forestry Research Tour.  This initiative showcases various operational research sites in the North Bay and Mattawa districts.  Over the years various collaborators have helped build this educational study tour and continue to contribute to its future development.

Many of these sites are accessible to the public and are marked by large interpretive signs, other sites may not be as easily accessed.
